So many things happen, some have passed through with nothing special and forgotten. But i try to give meaning to every single day in my life, at least i learn a new thing.
Wake me up when september end. Yes, because oktober fest is waiting :)
1st, 5th, 28th are special dates, meaningful, historical for our nation, Indonesia.
When i was in high school, october is also known as a language month (bulan bahasa) and 'till now i still don't know why ;p. I suppose because of sumpah pemuda, one language. i never knew before that there is an Aksara (alphabet? word?) Day, since when?
Now, i know one more special day on Oct, 27th, it's Global Pink Hijab (ribbon) to support breast cancer awareness.
This year, october is a disaster month in Indonesia, flood, earthquake, tsunami, mount eruption, ....
And bring "november rain" as real. Black ribbon replace pink.
But from disaster, i learn about ikhlas, patient, (when we lost almost all things, our beloved one, our belonging, yes, we have nothing, innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roji'un - to Allah we belong and to Allah is our return-)
also learn about solidarity, empathy,
(Everyone drive to give their best to help others, masseur/reflexologist (tukang pijet, red.), capster (salon/potong rambut, red.), give free service for victim (refugees) and volunteers.
singer, artist perform charity show, athlete perform charity match, ... etc)
Wondering, do we have to wait 'till disaster happen to remind us the Power of Giving?
